Interior designer Kathryn Crisp Greeley has authored a new keepsake and coffee table book that earned a spot on several Amazon bestsellers lists after its release Aug. 9.
“The Collected Cottage: Gardening, Gathering and Collecting at Chestnut Cottage” is a 400-page, richly illustrated book that takes readers on an intimate tour of Greeley’s lovingly curated cottage in Waynesville, North Carolina, its cherished collections and the lush gardens surrounding it.
“I have so enjoyed sharing my collected treasures and enchanted gardens through the pages of my latest book. I hope that it will inspire others to create their own special haven for memories, entertaining family and friends, and discovering the joys of nature,” Greeley says.
Greeley, an interior designer, author and speaker known for creating elegant lifestyles, has designed interiors in the Southeast for more than 40 years. She often speaks at art and antique shows across the country. Her first book, “The Collected Tabletop,” debuted in 2011 and laid the foundation for her latest release.
“The Collected Cottage” showcases Greeley’s extensive knowledge of fabrics and tabletop, and features photos of holiday gatherings and other special events she’s hosted over the years. Illustrated menus, recipes, original watercolors, tips and other details transport the reader into the cottage and inspire them to curate their own homes and lives.
