New York, NY – February 5, 2025 – The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), North America’s leading platform for global design, is thrilled to announce its return to the Javits Center on May 18-20, 2025. Building upon its storied reputation, ICFF is set to deliver an immersive event that responds to shifting market conditions, celebrates international collaboration, and highlights forward-thinking creativity in furniture and interior design.
For this edition, the thematic focus is “Designing in Harmony,” emphasizing human-centered, multi-sensory, and multicultural design that reflects the diversity and dynamism of the global industry and the world at large. With immersive exhibits, engaging discussions, and strategic networking opportunities, ICFF is where the design community converges to explore new ideas and shape the future of design.
Over the course of three days, designers, architects, developers, and buyers will convene to experience the latest in furniture, lighting, seating, textiles, and more. Navigating a Changing Market
As the U.S. market continues to evolve—marked by global economic and political flux, as well as the impact of unpredictable natural disasters such as those recently experienced in Los Angeles—ICFF is keenly attuned to the emerging needs and fresh opportunities in the design industry. These challenges underscore the importance of adaptable, sustainable, and inclusive solutions. By convening the global design community, ICFF aims to spark meaningful dialogue and innovation that will shape a more resilient future for both the industry and the end-users it serves.
“Creativity and empathy are the foundational principles that should continue to guide our industry as we shape the future. Its mission is to design spaces, products, and experiences that address the needs of tomorrow, creating a future that is both optimistic and sustainable. It is through this lens that we will contribute to a stronger economy for the design industry while continuing to innovate in ways that are thoughtful and human centered. ICFF’s goal is to align with and support this mission,” states ICFF Brand Directors Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat.
A Fresh Floor Plan
The 2025 floor plan has been thoughtfully redesigned to create distinct destinations under one roof. Each area will offer a unique experience, enabling a smoother flow for both exhibitors and visitors. Designed by RADS (Rodolfo Agrella Design Studio), the overall look, feel, and layout echo ICFF’s holistic, human-centered approach—creating spaces that encourage organic interaction and engaging dialogues.
Global Design Community
Committed to fostering design commerce worldwide, ICFF introduces leading North American architects, interior designers, curators, buyers, and developers to an array of innovative and influential designers from around the world. The International representation will shine a spotlight on design excellence from a wide range of countries, nurturing a global conversation on contemporary design. Visitors will encounter cutting-edge work from notable exhibitors like Secto, Midgard, Woud and others leading the way in sustainable materials, inclusive concepts, and next-generation aesthetics. This year, the Fair highlights new products from Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and beyond.
Tomorrowland, Ethnicraft, and Dieter Vander Velpen are pleased to present Morpho at the upcoming edition of ICFF. With Morpho, the renowned music festival Tomorrowland creates a high-end lifestyle brand, expanding its sphere from the ephemeral into lasting architectural legacy. The contemporary Art Nouveau collection of furniture and objects is designed under the creative direction of Antwerp-based architect Dieter Vander Velpen and brought to life by the craftsmanship of Belgian furniture brand Ethnicraft. The introduction of Morpho follows landmark projects such as the Tomorrowland headquarters in Antwerp and Lab of Tomorrow in Boom and will extend the Tomorrowland experience to new leisure projects.
