Today, Frieze unveiled highlights of the fifth edition of Frieze Los Angeles, once again steered by Christine Messineo (Director of Americas, Frieze). Running February 29 – March 3 at Santa Monica Airport, the fair brings together over 95 of the world’s leading galleries under one roof, showcasing a cross-section of today’s most exciting and influential contemporary art from across the globe. Continuing Frieze’s commitment to supporting the wider Los Angeles arts ecosystem, this year sees the return of the Santa Monica Art Bank Acquisition Fund.

This week, DNN Editor in Chief Courtney Porter delves into an insightful conversation with acclaimed artist Miles Regis, exploring his artistic contributions to the much-anticipated exhibition: “GENIUS: A Celebration of A Legend,” presented by art | Melanated in celebration of Stevie Wonder. Most notably recognized as a painter, but always experimenting, Regis is unveiling his creative venture into a novel medium for him—sculpture.

Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art Fair returned to Santa Monica for its 10th Los Angeles edition from September 21st to 24th at Barker Hangar. The global art event, dedicated to showcasing emerging talent and unforgettable experiences, will feature 140 independent artists exhibiting thousands of original artworks across various media—including painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, fiber arts, ceramics, and more—priced between $100 and $10,000.
