Collectible design

Interior designer Antonia Caicedo brings her global perspective to her recently launched “Antonia Collection” – a curated line of case goods, upholstery, and lighting that forges a stylish bond between Art Deco and Mid-Century modern aesthetics. The collection is the result of collaborative partnerships between Caicedo and three respected industry brands: artisan atelier JIMECO, EJ Victor and Fine Art Lamps.

The inaugural edition of DESIGN MIAMI.LA concluded yesterday, Monday 20 May 2024, following a five day show at a private Holmby Hills estate. The new West Coast fair offered a dynamic program of collectible design, serving as a testament to California’s rich design heritage as an international arbiter of taste.

The inaugural edition of DESIGN MIAMI.LA opens today, taking place until May 20, 2024 at a private Holmby Hills estate. The fair’s Curatorial Director, Ashlee Harrison, offers a dynamic program of collectible design, serving as a testament to California’s rich design heritage as an international arbiter of taste. From the post-war mid-century design boom and car culture, to the entertainment industry and space age engineering, the fair explores themes of eclecticism, imagination, and nostalgia – all integral to the city’s design landscape.

Proposals distinguished by a strong personality, which focus on the poetic language of nature, signed by prestigious international designers: atelier oï, Draw Studio, Foster + Partners, Gabriele e Oscar Buratti, Mario Bellini, Migliore+Servetto, Nespoli e Novara, and Zaha Hadid Architects are thus called upon to interpret the company’s vision with furniture proposals for the living area and bathroom area.

Design Miami today announces preview highlights for its newest edition in Los Angeles, taking place May 16th through 20th 2024. Taking inspiration from the fair’s location at a private Holmby Hills estate designed by the late architect Paul R. Williams, Curatorial Director Ashlee Harrison offers a dynamic program of collectible design that expands on themes of eclecticism, imagination, and nostalgia.
