February 23, 2023 – February 24, 2023 | NFT Paris
PARIS, FRANCE – Debuting their new concept of ‘GENERATIVE INTERIORS,’ TRAME (trameparis.com)—a dynamic and pioneering studio at the intersection of art, design, technology, and craft—is set to captivate the interior design and home decor landscape with their innovative concept, at NFT Paris in the Grand Palais Éphémère from February 23 to February 24, 2024. TRAME will unveil this concept through its exclusive collaboration with Art Blocks Engine (artblocksengine.io), a premier platform for generative artists. A visually stunning booth, with exhibition and set design by Hedvig Maigre and Nicola Lorini, will feature a curated GENERATIVE INTERIORS exhibition, immersing attendees in the stories behind TRAME’s Craft Nouveau Collections.

Ismail Tazi, founder of TRAME, will be doing a 30-minute workshop on generative design and the concept of ‘GENERATIVE INTERIORS,’ reshaping the narrative of interior design and home decor. This concept breaks away from the conventional notion of static interiors and embraces a living, breathing design philosophy. ‘GENERATIVE INTERIORS’ create an ever-changing, interactive, and personalized experience for individuals within the space. The use of generative algorithms allows for endless possibilities, ensuring that no two moments in the same environment are identical.

In addition to the booth, TRAME will have a generative interiors showroom in Place des Vosges in the Le Marais district available by appointment only. This off-site location provides an exclusive opportunity to witness the concept of “GENERATIVE INTERIORS” come to life in true TRAME format. Seeing the collection in this setting allows for a more personalized and in-depth exploration of the innovative approach, reinforcing TRAME’s dedication to redefining contemporary artistic expression.

At the heart of TRAME and Art Blocks’ collaboration lies a narrative showcasing the fusion of generative artists and artisans. Featured works include pieces from TRAME’s Craft Nouveau Collections, such as ‘Optimism’ by Jeff Davis, ‘Portraits’ by Martin Grasser, and ‘Navette’ by Alexis André. Craft Nouveau, TRAME’s artist series, merges algorithmic code with traditional craft, creating digital-to-physical artworks at the forefront of contemporary culture and technology. Founded in 2020 by Ismail Tazi, TRAME draws inspiration from Tazi’s experiences in infrastructure development in emerging countries, with a vision centered around craftsmanship as the future of contemporary creation.

The booth at NFT Paris symbolizes TRAME’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of art, design, and technology, creating a bridge between the digital and physical realms. Looking forward, TRAME aims to increase collaborations between digital artists and artisans, bringing forth new works at the intersection of these worlds.
