A VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Rebecca Birdwell, the organization’s new director, has been instrumental in driving the rebrand. “Design Los Angeles represents an exciting opportunity to expand our reach and deepen the city’s influence on the global design stage,” says Birdwell. “This evolution allows us to celebrate LA’s incredible diversity, foster new connections, and promote innovation within the design community.”Philip Stites, Board President of Design Los Angeles, reflects on the journey: “Fifteen years ago, my business partner, Robert Garcia, and I came together with other local showroom owners to promote the area during a time of economic hardship. What started as a neighborhood effort has grown into something far beyond our imagination. With fresh leadership and an expanded vision, Design Los Angeles is poised to lead the city’s design community into a new era.”
