‘Collectible’ wraps its 8th edition in Brussels

March 21 – Brussels – COLLECTIBLE is a leading global platform that highlights and showcases contemporary collectible design. With a presence on both sides of the Atlantic, it has become an important event where visitors can experience emerging trends and innovative design firsthand.

This March, COLLECTIBLE Brussels 2025 brought together a diverse mix of collectors, interior designers, journalists, design enthusiasts, and representatives from leading international institutions for its 8th edition.

This year’s edition featured over 100 exhibitors, including pioneering galleries, emerging designers, and architectural practices, all showcasing works that pushed the boundaries of material innovation and craftsmanship. Strong sales throughout the fair reflected the growing interest in high-quality contemporary pieces, further solidifying COLLECTIBLE’s reputation as a key platform for 21st-century design. Throughout its opening days, the fair has moreover welcomed almost 20,000 visitors.

“From 12 to 16 March, the beloved Vanderborght building once again became a vibrant hub for contemporary collectible design, attracting a broad audience eager to explore the latest trends and innovations in the field. A sincere thank you to our partners and supporters, whose contributions were essential in making this edition a success. We are also excited to announce that COLLECTIBLE will return to New York this September, expanding into a larger, more ambitious space to further cement its place in the city’s design landscape. After a successful debut in 2024, our next edition will bring an even stronger selection of contemporary collectible design, presented in collaboration with WSA.”

“This first participation of The Steidz Studio at Collectible, just six months after its launch, has helped shine a light on the young French designers we support, reaching an international audience. Among the collectors we met, professionals from the fields of art, fashion, and craftsmanship confirmed that design is a hybrid discipline, permeable to all creative domains—an idea we actively promote through The Steidz Studio. Viewing design as an avant-garde, polymorphic, and radical medium was the message we were able to convey at Collectible.”
– Maxime Gasnier, Artistic director of The Steidz Studio

“We have made prominent international contacts, particularly with architecture firms in Amsterdam interested in learning more about our designers, bio-materials, and the living design industries that we promote with ALEOR. We also made good connections with designers interested in collaborating with ALEOR, especially in the fields of wood and ceramics. I noted a large turnout at the opening and the professional day, with journalists genuinely curious about these new materials!”
– Nathalie Guiot, Founder of ALEOR

“Collectible was a great way to connect with architects, private clients and some professional. One of the highlight sales of the week were the lamps of Sigurd Nis Schelde (price range 1200 – 3000 euros) and Yoon Shun (price range 2.000 euros – 15.000 euros), we got to sell them to some qualitative collectors and clients.”
– Scott Lippens, Founder of Uppercut

“It has been a great year at collectible Brussels getting to catch up with fellow gallerists & designers – always a hi-light! On the booth we sold to our existing collectors, some new ones, some interior designers and some other furniture designers, with prices ranging from £900 to £6000.”

We truly enjoyed participating in this edition of COLLECTIBLE Brussels. COLLECTIBLE Brussels proved to be an essential meeting point for contemporary design and art, drawing a highly engaged audience of collectors and institutions. A particular highlight was the sale of our centerpiece to a collector in the sub-10k range, demonstrating the growing demand for our artists’ work.”
