October 2025 | London, UK – Award-winning British textile studio Yarn Collective revisits its two collaborative collections with Sister by Studio Ashby – Jocasta and Aurora – highlighting how pattern and texture transform upholstery through a curated series of pieces upholstered in the brand’s signature weaves.
Forming part of Yarn Collective’s long-standing partnership with Sister by Studio Ashby, these textiles reflect a shared appreciation for natural materials, colour, and craftsmanship. The collaboration explores how woven pattern, and texture can shape atmosphere and mood, bridging the line between decorative and architectural. Each design captures Sophie Ashby’s distinctive, painterly aesthetic, translated through Yarn Collective’s considered approach to materiality and craft.

Developed through a process of artisanal weaving and warp printing, the fabrics reveal their character when applied to form. From Jocasta’s softly layered designs, such as Disa in Lapis, Patch in Cerulean, Afua in Olive and Marcie Mohair in Festuca, which bring movement and tonal richness to silhouettes, to Aurora’s more structured weaves, including Paloma Plaid in Chestnut and Teal and Odessa in Thermae, which lend definition and calm, the collections celebrate how fabric can enhance both structure and softness.
Whether used to introduce quiet texture or to make a graphic statement, Yarn Collective’s collaborative textiles transform with every fold, seam, and contour, enriching the spaces and pieces they inhabit.
The Jocasta and Aurora Collections are available by the yard through Yarn Collective’s UK, North American and international stockists and via Sister by Studio Ashby, while the upholstered pieces featured are available exclusively from Sister by Studio Ashby.
