For many High Point Market buyers, the show is a prime time to sit — that it is, to test out seating options to see how they feel. We’ve got a sample of new offerings, from sofas to benches to accent chairs, that are just waiting for buyers to try out. 

Regina Andrew Detroit’s Carmine leather sofa blends a low-slung silhouette with a deep bench seat for comfort and retro vintage charm. It features slim metal legs and round bolster pillows and is dressed in a creamy, tufted Cappuccino leather. Part of more than 125 new products from company, it has a suggested retail price of $8,750. (International Home Furnishings Center IH006)

The Hollie chair from Precedent blends midcentury modern style with art deco inspiration. It features striking wood details and a graceful silhouette. (315 Fred Alexander Place, Third Floor)

American Leather’s Dorian chair has articulating back cushions that allow users to switch between two seating profiles — one for relaxed lounging with a taller silhouette and deeper seat, and another for upright support with enhanced lumbar comfort.
