Designer and Product Highlights from the Pasadena Showcase House of Design
The sunroom and patio designed by R/terior Studio is a masterclass in mixing styles. It’s a mesmerizing fusion of modern funk and classical elegance that effortlessly marries the best of both worlds. The bold, contemporary pieces from Rowe add a burst of energy and personality, while still paying homage to the classic elements of the home.
The Great Gatsby goes to Palm Beach in Meredith Green Design’s vision of the primary bedroom terrace. To enhance the space without overpowering the panoramic garden views, Green incorporated two stunning pieces from Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery: Capital Lighting’s 24-inch-wide pendant named Cecilia, and Varaluz’s Banana Leaf chandelier Together, these fixtures add a touch of elegance and charm to the lanai, complementing the breathtaking surroundings.
Rachel Duarte of RD Design Studio utilized Ferguson in the butler’s pantry and dining room. She retained parts of the dining room’s existing wall mural from the 80s, but gave it a little face-lift, brightening it up, but keeping it equal parts moody and whimsical. Duarte incorporated a single-hole bar faucet with a brass-finished spigot and black-finished tap from Kohler’s Tone Collection, sourced from Ferguson. These additions beautifully complement the black granite Franke Quantum drop-in undermount single basin sink.
From modern and minimalist to traditional and opulent, each room in the Pasadena Showcase House tells a unique story. The designers have skillfully combined textures, colors, and materials to create harmonious and visually striking interiors. The showcase features the integration of cutting-edge technology and sustainable design practices. From energy-efficient appliances to smart home systems, from dedicated sponsors like Ferguson, the designers have embraced the latest innovations without compromising on style or functionality and they feel perfectly at home in Pasadena.
