The rise of games in design is undeniable. From the recreations themselves to game tables and accessories, our lineup speaks to the best and brightest in furnishings, accessories and the games themselves.
The Brody Game table by Barrie Benson for Highland House is equal parts chic and functional, a testimony to game table growth. Lacquered in a brilliant red, its smooth edges hide tiny pull-out “drink shelves” for guests to enjoy libations while at their cards, chips or tiles.
Made from white oak in Biedermeier style, Revelation’s Mix and Mingle Game Chair promises comfort and ease with a curved oval back and the ability to swivel.
Available in two colors, Madheke’s leather wrapped Montez game stack is a stroke of luxurious brilliance. Housing five games – Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Jenga and Dominoes neatly stack in one tower while the open compartment beneath is crafted to hold necessary accoutrements.
Mah Jong goes into the pool with The Mah Jong Line’s AquaMahj Floating Game Table. Made from ethylene-vinyl-acetate, this ingenious table has four drink holders and grooves for each player to hold their tiles.
