Sherrill Furniture Brands Appoints Jeni Pruitt as Director of Business Development

Industry Veteran to Lead Growth in Emerging Channels & Strategic National Partnerships

Hickory, N.C., March 2026 — Sherrill Furniture Brands has appointed Jeni Pruitt as Director of Business Development, reporting to Tom Zaliagiris, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Pruitt will focus on expanding the company’s presence within emerging business channels and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Pruitt will be responsible for developing, fostering and strengthening relationships with national omni-channel retailers, national to-the-trade partners, and digitally native retailers. She will also serve as a key point of contact for OEM customers while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service and account support.

Pruitt brings more than 24 years of experience with Sherrill Furniture Brands, most recently serving as a territory representative where she built long-standing relationships with retail partners and consistently advocated for their success. Her ability to connect customers with the right product and solutions has been a hallmark of her career.

Prior to joining Sherrill, Pruitt worked in sales in the branded merchandise industry with Bensussen Deutsch & Associates and spent time in advertising early in her career.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a degree in Journalism.
