This fall, contemporary European furniture retailer BoConcept is launching new home furnishings designed by Danish designers Morten Georgsen and Henrik Pedersen.

The collection includes a sofa, two desks, two dining tables, two dining chairs, a side table, a cocktail table, an accent chair and a storage cabinet.

The pieces designed by Georgsen , whose firm is known for “no nonsense design,” include:

• The Princeton lounge, an accent chair with a shaped back and seat that has a light and feminine aesthetic as seen in its soft curves and cocoon-inspired design.
• The Kingston home office, which features a desk with a thin metal frame and a storage drawer. It has slightly tapered legs that complete the light Nordic-inspired design.
• The Asti home office, which combines woods and metals in a clean-lined desk that complements today’s home offices.
• The Hamilton dining chair, which has a classic yet contemporary style, featuring three different base designs and two upholstery options.
• The Lund cabinet, which offers open display storage and a clean-lined contemporary frame.
• The Madrid dining table, which has a metal base in matte black and matte white and a top that comes in white lacquer or dark oak veneer. It has a floating top design meant to add visual appeal.
• The Madrid side table comes in a small footprint to complement a matching cocktail table for use in a living room or den.

The pieces by Pedersen, head of design firm 365° North, include:

• The Berne sofa, which features an upright back, deep seating and firm cushions. All elements, including the arms, seat and back are softly rounded.
• The Hauge table and chair come in dark and natural oak finishes. They also feature a slim matte black metal frame and a wooden base.

Due to ongoing supply chain issues, the company declined to reveal specific dates on when the items will land in its U.S. stores, other than to say they will likely be available from early September through the month of October. The company also declined to reveal specific price points, noting that it is expecting to implement a price increase on July 1.

There are 18 BoConcept stores in U.S. markets, including Berkeley, Costa Mesa, Los Angeles, Palm Desert, San Joes and San Francisco in California; Boston and Dedham in Massachusetts; Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach and Miami in Florida; New York City and Syracuse in New York; Paramus and Princeton in New Jersey; McLean, Virginia; and Washington, D.C.

The retailer, headquartered in Herring, Denmark, has more than 300 stores in 60 countries, and offers customizable furniture, as well as virtual and in-home design services.
