Project feature: Alexander Lamont + Miles team up with designer Chad Dorsey to create the Fromental Drawing Room

At the 2025 edition of WOW!House at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, Alexander Lamont + Miles have teamed up with acclaimed U.S. designer Chad Dorsey to create the Fromental Drawing Room, a richly detailed space that exudes refined luxury and handcrafted artistry. Dorsey, known for his sophisticated yet approachable interiors, envisioned the room as a “richly layered retreat” inspired by the traditional private members club. His design pays tribute to the Arts and Crafts movement, spotlighting authentic craftsmanship and thoughtful materiality throughout.

Among the standout pieces are Alexander Lamont’s sculptural designs, which seamlessly blend organic texture with quiet opulence. The Fillo Long Table, inspired by a lily pond and cast in bronze, anchors the seating area with whimsy and elegance.

Complementing it are the Lithe Uplight, with its sleek silhouette, and the Paglia collection—lamp, bowl, and candleholders—that add natural texture and contrast beautifully against Fromental’s chrysanthemum-and-sunflower wallpaper.

Further enriching the space are striking details like the Ogún Table Lamp in spiked cast bronze, verdigris Cockle Vases, a characterful Owl sculpture, and lacquered Ripple Bowls, each contributing to the room’s inviting depth and tactile richness.
