PORT 68 Adds to Licenses with WINTERTHUR Collection at High Point Market

Lighting and accessories vendor PORT 68 is adding to its stable of licenses with WINTERTHUR at High Point Market.  The 40+ sku collection will include lighting and accessories in porcelain, and framed giclee artwork with patterns and objects inspired by the museum and collection of Henry Francis du Pont.

Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library—known worldwide for its preeminent collection of 90,000 American antiques, a 60 acre naturalistic garden, and a library that is a research center for the study of American art and material culture. Winterthur is located near Wilmington, Delaware.

“Winterthur adds classic patterns with our interpretation of Acanthus Stripe, Dragon Pagoda, and Pagoda Garden in tones of blue, mocha and green on planters, trays and lamps. We are enjoying working with Winterthur drawing inspiration from its unparalleled collections and design sources”, said Mark Abrams, VP Design and Marketing, PORT 68.

“We are thrilled to welcome PORT 68 to our list of licensed partners”, said Kristin DeMesse director of Winterthur’s licensing program. “The new PORT 68 collection is a wonderful reflection of the depths of Winterthur’s incredible design resources. PORT 68 was inspired by designs in the antiques collections in the museum and by the rare books and ephemera collections in the library. They have created beautiful new products for today’s interiors and the recurring floral themes pay homage to Henry Francis du Pont’s love of flowers and gardens.”

PORT 68 will host a “dessert party” celebrating WINTERTHUR on Saturday, April 25 from 3-5pm in the PORT 68 showroom located in IHFC – InterHall 105.
