International, high-end kitchen designer Som Santoso is launching a new luxury home furnishings brand called Tristen William at the High Point Market.
The initial collection of about 40 pieces includes sofas and sectionals; side and coffee tables; dining tables, chairs and stools; lounge chairs; and cabinets.
“We design for the cultural melting pot. We integrate forms and materials from many traditions to create harmony whilst adapting to a new lifestyle in a modern world — furniture that make anywhere feel like home,” says Santoso, founder of the new Henderson, Nevada-based company.

Santoso has a long history in home design. An architect, he began his career with PT Griya Trada in Indonesia, concentrating on residential projects and finding a passion for kitchens. He formed a kitchen division within the company in 2003 and later, the division was spun off into its own entity, operating under the brand name Som Santoso Kitchen Solutions.
Today, Som Santoso Kitchen Solutions has several showrooms in Jakarta, representing brands including Aster Cucine, Ballerina Kuchen, Lema and SieMatic, and building luxury, state-of-the-art kitchens throughout Indonesia.
The Tristen William brand name was once used for kitchen cabinetry.

“This brand was named after our sons’ names, Tristen and William,” Santoso says. “However, my partner had relinquished and sold his ownership to me in its early years and, now having moved to the USA, I am using the brand name and reformed its product focus to furniture.”
With the new Tristen William furniture line, Santoso is targeting brick-and-mortar retailers, as well as interior designers, and is offering special pricing for designers following the launch. “For the first two years after our October 2025 launch, designers can place their first three orders with no minimum purchase,” Santoso says.
The sophisticated yet casual collection, with an emphasis on clean lines, strong geometry and dark wood finishes, draws inspiration from around the globe.

“Our mission is to bring the ultimate sense of comfort to people from every background. I’ve drawn on experiences from around the world to create pieces with quality, functionality, comfort, sustainability and innovation, while embracing creativity and individual expression,” Santoso says. “Our collections reflect American lifestyles, from metropolitan ease (Arlington Heights) to country warmth (Ranch House), through a global, inclusive lens.”
Indoor pieces are made of solid white oak; outdoor pieces are teak. Some wood chairs incorporate rattan. Wood and rattan chairs are being produced in Indonesia. Upholstery, offered in three performance-grade fabrics, is being manufactured in Malaysia and Vietnam.

Chairs will be in stock immediately, Santoso says, with upholstered furniture available about a month after market, and case goods, including dining tables and cabinets, available about two months after the show. Suggested retail price points range from $4,269 for the three-seat Pacific Palisades sofa to $1,969 for the Austin swivel lounge chair to $659 for the Plano side table.
The Tristen William line can be seen in the Hamilton wing of the International Home Furnishings Center, H309.
