High Point, N.C. Aug. 15, 2023— Who will be the winners of this year’s International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) 2023 Pinnacle Awards? Reserve your spot to experience “Untamed Minds,” a remarkable evening of networking with friends, colleagues, and industry veterans. See first-hand the winning furniture and textile designs and salute the talented professional and student designers who created them. Mark your calendar for Monday, October 16, 5:30-9:45pm in the Loft at Condon Yards, 410 W English Rd, High Point. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the ISFD Foundation Scholarship Fund which supports gifted student designers from schools across the country. Tickets are available now at isfd.org.
“This year’s Pinnacle Awards celebration of ‘Untamed Minds’ takes us beyond the normal and into the possible,” said David Blair, ISFD executive director. “It will be a fun, funky and energetic evening recognizing the industry’s most distinguished pieces, the designers who create them, the manufacturers who bring them to life, and the retailers and interior designers make them a part of our homes.” The entries for the industry’s most coveted design honor encompass 24 categories for both luxury and broad appeal products.
The Pinnacle Awards applaud designs that are produced mostly in larger numbers for sale to consumers. The recipient of the highly coveted Pinnacle Award is the designer or designers who were directly involved in the “design craft” of the product(s). The items or collections entered must be in current production and must have been shown and sold at one of the major home furnishings or fabric markets worldwide.
