Slated to open in early 2025, the West Coast flagship showroom is within a 6,300-square-foot, two-story building on North Robertson Blvd. and Melrose Ave. Saghian is designing it to evoke the charm of a European townhouse. In phase two, the upper floor will also house Saghian’s new interior design studio.

This Summer at Atlanta Market, designers can expect to see a focus on organic shapes, natural materials and muted color palettes. Sustainability remains a central theme, with several brands highlighting eco-friendly practices and materials. Mixed metals, particularly brass and antiqued finishes, feature prominently in lighting and accent pieces. This market’s offerings also reflect a growing interest in modular and multifunctional furniture designed for contemporary lifestyles.

Applications will be accepted between June 1 and June 30, 2024, for five professional grants from the Educational Foundation (EF) of IFDA, the International Furnishings and Design Association. Since 1968, this 77-year-old global design industry alliance has awarded grants to talented professionals as well as scholarships to high-achieving design students, internationally. Last year, the funds awarded for scholarships and grants to taled $30,000.

Proposals distinguished by a strong personality, which focus on the poetic language of nature, signed by prestigious international designers: atelier oï, Draw Studio, Foster + Partners, Gabriele e Oscar Buratti, Mario Bellini, Migliore+Servetto, Nespoli e Novara, and Zaha Hadid Architects are thus called upon to interpret the company’s vision with furniture proposals for the living area and bathroom area.
