Horizon House by ONUS Architecture Studio is a net-zero residence in Syros, Greece, seamlessly embedded in the Cycladic terrain. Combining architectural minimalism with regenerative strategies—including off-grid energy, water reuse, and ecosystem restoration—the project redefines island living through a climate-adaptive, site-sensitive approach. It all began with a sofa — a bespoke piece designed by Gallizioli for the entrance of Emanuele Chicco Busnelli’s offices, the soul behind the company. More than just a seat, it was conceived as a grounded presence: sculptural, solid, and quietly inviting, anchoring the space with understated gravity.
