Design News Now taps home industry veteran Rachel Fasciani as editor-in-chief.

Design News Now has appointed Rachel Fasciani editor in chief, elevating a home industry veteran to the top editorial role at the design trade publication.
The move puts a longtime insider at the helm at a moment of heightened interest and evolution in design trade publications, as DNN looks to build and expand its reach across platforms. She replaces Courtney Porter.
Fasciani has most recently served as a contributor at Cover Magazine, the creator and writer of her SubStack, The Chic Peek, and as a consultant in PR, Marketing, and Licensing for home brands, following her time at STARK and Momeni where she built and managed brand, marketing and licensing across lines such as Prestige Mills, Christiane Lemieux x Momeni and The Novogratz x Momeni.

Fasciani began her career in design as a social media consultant, spending five years climbing the ranks at Momeni before moving to STARK in 2021. During her tenure at both companies, she became known for identifying and executing opportunities across licensing, branding, and working with other industry leaders to evolve brand presence in new and innovative ways.
