A global design destination is born in Los Angeles

Los Angeles’ iconic West Hollywood Design District welcomes an unparalleled design destination: the first Eichholtz flagship showroom on the West Coast, thoughtfully curated and led by visionary designer Ryan Saghian.

GLOBAL BRAND MEETS UNWAVERING VISION

Eichholtz is an international leader in high-end furniture, lighting, and accessories, with a presence in more than 110 countries. Their products are featured in prestigious hotels, restaurants, and retail spaces worldwide. Within the collection of over 4,000 unique products across their whole home offering, a wide selection of items are available for shipping with two-to-three weeks lead time. Known for its masterful craftsmanship and sophisticated aesthetic, Eichholtz brings European elegance to a contemporary audience.

At the helm of this Los Angeles debut is Ryan Saghian, a design force renowned for merging timeless craftsmanship with a provocative, modern sensibility. As principal of Ryan Saghian Interior Design Studio, he has redefined what luxury means for a new generation of A-list clientele—creating interiors that are bold, evocative, and unapologetically personal. Having first discovered the brand during a buying trip to Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy in 2014, he has been sourcing products for his award-winning projects ever since—a testament to the authenticity of this joint venture.

“This showroom is not just about furniture—it’s about creating a space that reflects both the heritage of Eichholtz and the energy of Los Angeles,” says Saghian. “Every detail is curated to bring European sophistication with an undeniable LA attitude.”
“We are proud to welcome Ryan Saghian into the Eichholtz family of retail partners. His commitment to upholding our brand standards and collaborative mindset give us great confidence in his ability to be the brand ambassador in this important West Coast market,” says Michiel Herkemij, Eichholtz’s chief executive officer.

THE CHICEST HOUSE ON THE BLOCK

Affectionately dubbed “The Chicest House on the Block,” a nod to Saghian’s first book, “Unapologetically Chic,” the flagship location is a design statement in itself. The 6,300-square-foot Eichholtz showroom at 464 N. Robertson sits alongside Ryan Saghian Design Studio at 462 N. Robertson, a striking black-façade space that embodies Saghian’s signature aesthetic.

Designed to evoke a European townhouse, the buildings feature artisanal brickwork, hand-forged wrought iron detailing, and rich black lacquer millwork. The 1,800-square-foot design studio includes Saghian’s personal office, a resource library, and sophisticated meeting spaces—offering an intimate glimpse into his creative process. A full kitchen features Sub-Zero Wolf, and Cove appliances from The Luxury Kitchen, as well as faucets by Kallista.

While the two businesses are separate, Saghian owns the showroom and has been instrumental in shaping how Eichholtz is experienced in Los Angeles. “I am first and foremost an interior designer,” he says. “The showroom operates with its own incredible team, allowing me to focus on my passion: creating spaces that tell a story.”

“The Eichholtz Los Angeles showroom is unlike any other in our global portfolio, while still exuding our signature World of Eichholtz elegance,” says Edwin van der Gun, Eichholtz’s chief creative officer. “Ryan’s personalized touches throughout the space demonstrate the versatility of our collections for an LA audience.”

A LIVING GALLERY OF ART & CRAFTSMANSHIP

The showroom itself is an artistic experience. The first-floor interior is defined by four striking columns featuring brutalist-style plaster bas-relief by LA-based Belgian artist Katrien Van der Schueren, a longtime collaborator of Saghian’s.
An evolving fine art curation by Creative Art Partners will bring a fresh perspective each season, while a bespoke upholstery program will introduce an unprecedented level of customization. “For interior designers, this is a game-changer,” says Saghian. “Clients can select from a curated range of furniture, provide their own fabric, and have it expertly crafted locally—all delivered with white glove service.”

A HUB FOR GLOBAL DESIGN PARTNERSHIPS

Eichholtz Los Angeles debuts with a roster of exclusive shop-in-shop partnerships, transforming the showroom into a one-stop destination for luxury design:
Hakwood – The Dutch leader in luxury oak flooring unveils its first U.S. gallery inside the space.

Little Greene Paint & Wallpaper, The British heritage brand makes its U.S. debut, bringing its signature water-based paints to a new market.

Lo & Co – The acclaimed Australian hardware brand selects Eichholtz L.A. as its first U.S. distribution hub.

“With all these exceptional brands under one roof, we’ve built something bigger than a showroom—we’ve created a design collective,” Saghian explains.

THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART X EICHHOLTZ

The showroom will also showcase The Met x Eichholtz, an award-winning collaboration between Eichholtz and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, drawing inspiration from over 5,000 years of art and history. Having launched in the Fall of 2023, with a second installment in the Fall of 2024, the collaboration is poised for its third release in Fall 2025 and will be available through the LA outpost. Across 160 pieces of furniture, lighting, and home accents, the collaboration collection is a tribute to historic design through a modern lens. Ranging from contemporary reimagining to faithful reproductions, the collection will be juxtaposed with Saghian’s modern environment—a signature technique demonstrated throughout his prolific portfolio of work.

This global perspective also ties back to Eichholtz’s roots. Founded in 1992 by antiques dealer Theo Eichholtz, the brand began by importing rare antiques from Asia and across Europe. Nods to the past, represented in iconic designs and reimagined classics, are a cornerstone of the collection to this day. In a full-circle moment, Saghian’s partner, antiques dealer Chak Monet, has curated a selection of vintage pieces, including a stunning marble sculpture of Ganymede’s torso, which will be available at the showroom.

CELEBRATING HERITAGE & COMMUNITY

As a Persian-American designer, Saghian’s work is as much about honoring his heritage as it is about innovation. “Good design isn’t about choosing between tradition and reinvention—it’s about mastering both,” he says.

In collaboration with ADVOCARTSY, a visual arts platform specializing in Iranian contemporary art, Saghian will curate rotating exhibitions celebrating Iranian artistry. His own personal collection will also be on display, including works by Ghanaian artist Serge Attukwei Clottey and Andy Warhol’s iconic portrait of Farah Pahlavi, the last Empress of Iran.

The showroom will serve as a cultural and design hub, hosting exclusive events such as an upcoming book signing with Breegan Jane, TV host, interior designer, and author of “California Beach House Luxury.”

A NEW ERA FOR LOS ANGELES DESIGN

Saghian believes the showroom will reshape the city’s design landscape. “I designed this space through the lens of a designer—not just a retailer,” he says. “It’s a place where you can experience variety, but always with a focus on luxury, craftsmanship, and the very best brands.”
“Los Angeles is the most dynamic design hub in the world. It’s where the boldest ideas come to life. And my mission is to have this showroom set a new standard for what’s possible.”
