Christie’s announces Spring design auction

One of the unusual perspectives a textile design executive has at market is seeing how other showrooms use their product. Designing special rooms for special people

The CEO, principal and creative director of Savvy Interiors in San Diego, hadn’t worked on a space that met guidelines emanating from the Americans with Disabilities Act. So, she did what she always does when faced with a new challenge: She read everything she could, reached out to medical experts, consulted with design colleagues who’d worked on such spaces and, of course, talked to the teen and his parents about his unique situation.

Lanerossi dresses the bathroom in color

Available in a range of 7 colors, the Phoenix set is composed of a guest towel measuring 30×50 cm, a face towel in the size 60×105 cm, and a bath sheet of 50×100 cm decorated by fringes on the shorter sides.
