ATLANTA, GA – June 10, 2024 – ANDMORE℠ announces a Summer 2026 rescheduling of Atlanta Market and co-location with Atlanta Apparel to accommodate a successful market while Atlanta hosts FIFA World Cup matches. The two markets, which will run concurrently across all three AmericasMart Atlanta buildings, will offer attendees a broader range of complementary resources and synergistic cross-category shopping opportunities.
While perusing the product preview submissions for Atlanta Market, Winter 2024, we noticed recurring terms in the product descriptions: fun, ease, texture, warmth, and modernity.
Home fashion leader and American-made upholstery furniture maker Vanguard Furniture is expanding its presence at the Atlanta Market with a new permanent showroom. While it has previously shown in temporary spaces at the show, the company is debuting its new permanent space in Building 1, Floor 6, Space E-7 at the upcoming January Atlanta Market, where it will be displaying the best of its indoor and outdoor furnishings.
To celebrate the grand opening of the new space, the company will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 11 at 11 a.m. as well as a daily happy hour Tuesday July 11 through Sunday, July 16 beginning at 3 p.m. Dubbed, “Feeling Peachy? The Daily Fuzz,” customers are encouraged to stop by at their leisure for a designer-inspired happy hour where conversation, community and creativity collide.
This business transformation follows a year-long initiative to redefine the company’s vision, align all channels under a single brand experience, and offer more ways to seamlessly connect wholesale buyers and sellers through physical and digital platforms. “Today marks an important milestone as we embark on a new era for our company,” said Bob Maricich, ANDMORE CEO. “ANDMORE captures our spirit of innovation and focus on doing MORE to support our customers by enhancing and extending the value of our physical markets for both buyers and sellers across the furniture, home décor, gift and apparel industries.”
Multi-line showrooms and design brick and mortar stores are an interesting conduit between the manufacturers whose products they sell and the people who make them look good: interior designers. Showroom and store buyers have a discerning approach to market. So how do manufacturers capture the attention of these very important buyers at market? We caught up with showrooms and stores across the country to understand their priorities when they shop at market.
