International Market Centers will present nearly 50 new brands among its 310-plus whole home and lifestyle temporary exhibitors in the Suites at Market Square during the High Point Market Oct. 22-26.
“Designers and retailers coming to High Point Market for unique and special items will find a wealth of resources at SAMS,” said Scott Eckman, IMC executive vice president and chief revenue officer, in a news release. “This fall, a full SAMS presents an engaging mix of new-to-High-Point brands, international collections and new inspiration from favorite exhibitors. From candles to rugs to outdoor living, SAMS offers a complete product mix for buyers.”
Some 310-plus temporary exhibitors are presented on three floors in the Suites at Market Square. Salon — the design-focused, fashion-forward curated collection on the ground floor — features 50 exhibitors. The mezzanine and top floors feature a lineup of 260-plus innovative brands showing decorative accessories, furniture, home textiles, lighting, rugs, wall art and more.
This fall, Salon features eight brands that are new or returning to High Point Market after a hiatus: 717 Sailbags (bags, decor and clothing handcrafted in France from 100% recycled sailcloth), Couristan Rugs & Carpets (area rugs, residential carpeting and custom floor covering), Finewerks (lighting and original art), Lubin Paris (home fragrances by a Parisian perfumer founded in 1798), Nima Oberoi – Lunares (handcrafted homeware, home decor, gifts and tableware), Olivya Stone (fully customizable furniture handcrafted in California), Pampa Living (outdoor furniture) and TRAME Paris (French homeware and accessories inspired by history and the Mediterranean).
Some 40-plus brands will debut on the mezzanine and top floors. Of note are strong presentations of original art, outdoor living and rugs among the new decor exhibitors, according to the news release.
Five new art brands are Allyson Monson Photography (fine art photography), B. Maraffi Art and Home (luxury bedding, pillows, rugs and textiles featuring original art), Debra Ferrari Fine Art & Home (fine art original paintings, reproductions and artfully inspired accent wallcoverings), Georgette Monaghan (mixed-media original art) and palmer K designs (area rugs, blankets and throws, indoor/outdoor pillows and gifts featuring original art).
Six new outdoor living brands include Emuamericas (easy-to-store chairs and tables), Esschert Design USA (outdoor accessories and garden gifts), GHP Group (barbecue grills and indoor and outdoor hearth products), Outer (sustainably crafted outdoor furniture), Royal Botania (luxury outdoor furniture) and Teak + Table Outdoor Living (teak outdoor furniture).
Three new rug brands are CiCIL (area rugs made in the USA using 100% natural, renewable and nontoxic materials) and Loominology (custom rugs in a variety of designs) and Olker Rugs (contemporary rugs). Other new finds include 47th & Main (vintage kitchen and home decor), Artish Studio (modular, interactive furniture), Botanica Candle (candles handmade in the USA that support nonprofit organizations in the areas indigenous to its fragrance ingredients), Calia Stone Boutique (natural stone slabs and accessories), Current Luxury (innovative drapery systems, outdoor umbrellas and the innovative ALMA dining chairs), L&DS Lighting & Design Studio (custom chandeliers), Piffany USA (Danish handcrafted furniture, lighting and flameless candles with a strong Scandinavian design aesthetic), Post House (graphical, modern fabrics, pillows, and decor), Rocking the Clock (clocks, lamps and accent furniture made from vintage musical instruments) and more.
The Global Sourcing Pavilion on the top floor also is a key destination for fall buyers. Some 50-pluls brands from Brazil, China, India, Italy, Korea and Turkey will show original furniture, outdoor living, mattresses, textiles, upholstery and case goods together in the space.
Also new are three spaces on the top floor sponsored by the Sherwin-Williams paint company: a seminar room to host DesignOn HPMKT by IMC programming, a designer lounge and an exhibit that will showcase new color inspiration.
IMC presents the only temporary exhibits at High Point Market. In addition to the Suites at Market Square, IMC presents 50-plus temporary exhibitors in InterHall on the first floor of the International Home Furnishings Center and 15-plus furniture exhibitors on one floor in Plaza Suites
