COVER Connect Registration

Registration is open for COVER Connect New York 2026, the leading trade show dedicated to highend
rugs and carpets. Hosted by COVER magazine, the show returns to Manhattan’s Metropolitan
Pavilion and The Altman Building from September 26–28, bringing together forty-four rug brands with
manufacturers, designers and buyers from across the rug and interiors industries.

Since its launch in 2021, COVER Connect New York has grown steadily in scope. It has become a firm
favourite among buyers from rug galleries, furniture retailers, department stores and interior design firms, who appreciate its convenient central location, collaborative atmosphere and the breadth and quality of products on show. Open exclusively to trade professionals, COVER Connect New York provides a focused environment to source new rugs, explore custom opportunities and build relationships in person — while also offering inspiration through design-led collections and conversation with some of the industry’s most knowledgeable makers.

The show offers a comprehensive overview of contemporary rug production, spanning traditional
rugs and flatweaves, versatile flooring solutions for residential and commercial projects, contemporary
artistic works and exclusive commissions. Exhibitors are selected to complement one another, ensuring

Design Highlights and Exhibitor Quotes

New collections, design additions, exciting samples and fresh custom options will be launched at COVER Connect New York this September, with exhibitors using the specialist three-day event to introduce their latest rugs and carpets to clients and visitors.

S&H Rugs will bring a vibrant reimagining of traditional Persian design. Kristina Drozd and Xhuljana Hamiti of S&H Rugs say: ‘We are taking the breathtaking heritage of classic Persian motifs and injecting them with bold, trend forward colours. Every hand-knotted piece we’re bringing celebrates the perfect marriage of historical elegance and modern maximalism.’

The latest instalment of Knots Rugs’ Artist Collaboration series, based on the work of Manchester-based abstract painter Ian Rayer-Smith, will preview at the show.

Creative Matters will expand its celebrated 2025 Loominary collection, which the company says, ‘celebrates artistic expression, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the collaborative process that transforms ideas into beautifully crafted pieces.’

Couristan describes Nouvelle, its latest hand-knotted collection in 100% pure wool, as ‘abstract contemporary’ with ‘tribal vibes’.

French Accents will showcase a new collection of Art Deco rugs in unique textures, alongside new Oushak rugs woven on all-wool foundations.

Murat Ketenci from KETENCI says, ‘We are proud to launch our latest line to COVER Connect. Our signature wash and finish process has helped us achieve texture and patina and gives the rugs the feel and touch of handmade paper and the look of an antique silk rug.’
