Rottet Studio, has been honored with a prestigious NYCxDESIGN award in the accessories category for her Luminosa Screen from Rottet Collection presented by Interior Design Magazine. In addition, the screen was tagged for a SIT Furniture Design Award and was a Finalist in the Architizer A+ Product Awards.
The project, developed by the company in collaboration with designer Pier Luigi Frighetto, stems from a deep reflection on the product’s life cycle and promotes design solutions aimed at longevity and reducing environmental impact.
This new Pinnacle Awards category will recognize aesthetically exceptional furnishings that embody the principles of biophilic design.

For this year’s Dudley Moore Sr. Furniture Design Competition, students submitted an original design for a chair that is suitable for marketing to either or both residential and contract trade industry segments. The competition criteria states that designs should be aesthetically pleasing and also suitable for manufacturing within the financial and technical constraints of mass production.
The term for the current IDS National Board of Directors will continue through December 31, 2025. The 11-member volunteer board is comprised of individuals from many sectors of the design industry.
Hall of Fame architect and interior designer Lauren Rottet, FAIA, FIIDA, andher Rottet Collection have won another coveted GOOD DESIGN® Award bestowed by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
