The first 3-in-1 sauna/cold plunge/hot tub, the SaunaPlunge Container is made from repurposed materials and is available for residential and commercial use.
Spooner, WI – Backcountry Containers, best known for its sustainable approach to transforming shipping containers into tiny homes, is pleased to announce its latest luxury offering, – the SaunaPlunge Container. The first of its kind, the SaunaPlunge Container is an all-inclusive sauna, cold plunge, swimming pool and hot tub that blends viral wellness trends with a sleek, sophisticated design. Designed to accommodate both commercial and residential spaces, the SaunaPlunge Container is now available for purchase on Backcountry Containers website.
“The SaunaPlunge Container is a seamless continuation of our business mission ̶— to innovate and develop cutting-edge, modular products,” said Backcountry Container Founder Jon Meier. “I’m excited about SaunaPlunge; there’s nothing else like it on the market and I’m looking forward to people experiencing our take on these wellness practices.”
Rising to popularity on the HGTV shows “Tiny House, Big Living” and “Containables”, Backcountry Containers has made a name for itself, offering standard and customizable shipping container homes and pools. Driven by a desire to challenge the status quo and intrigued by the world of saunas and cold plunging, Meier set out to create a sleek and tranquil wellness destination. Similar products are oversized or two individual units, but the SaunaPlunge Container is one modular unit, maximizing the efficiency of space and elevating the design.
Backcountry Containers is known for pushing boundaries, and the SaunaPlunge Container is its latest creation that caters to the hottest wellness trend. Applying his diverse engineering background, Meier designed the SaunaPlunge Container with exclusive heating and cooling technology. This innovative system enables the 7’x10′ pool to transform from a cold plunge, hot tub, or swimming pool, and then efficiently maintain the desired temperature. Unlike other products on the market, the SaunaPlunge Container is large enough for a shared experience. The pool comfortably holds six adults, while the sauna can accommodate up to four adults.
“Generally, you see units large enough for one person,” said Meier. “Cold plunging is difficult. I’ve done it, and it’s nice to have camaraderie when you are doing something so challenging.” Inspired by the Scandinavian background of wellness practices, the SaunaPlunge Container features clean lines, natural materials, and large windows to immerse users in the surrounding environment. The luxury sauna, with cedar tongue-and-groove walls and ceilings, a stone-style tiled floor, and an electric heater, also includes a Bluetooth stereo system.
