ASID OPENS REGISTRATION FOR GATHER: CATALYST 2026, BRINGING DESIGN LEADERS TO DALLAS

Flagship Conference to Spotlight Leadership, Professional Growth and Cross-Sector Innovation in Interior Design

March 25, 2026 – Washington, D.C.) – The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) announced today that registration is open for its flagship GATHER: Catalyst 2026 conference, taking place Sept. 16-18 in Dallas. The three-day event will convene ASID leadership, volunteers, students, practitioners and industry partners for learning, networking and thought leadership. 

“As the leading association representing interior design across all sectors, ASID is committed to advancing both current and emerging leaders,” said Khoi Vo, chief executive officer, ASID. “GATHER: Catalyst will equip attendees with the tools, connections and insights to navigate a rapidly evolving profession. Through tailored, forward-looking programming, participants will strengthen their networks and acquire renewed inspiration to drive impact through design.”

Focused on professional growth and leadership development, GATHER: Catalyst 2026 will feature a keynote, continuing education units (CEUs), workshops and networking opportunities to support career advancement and industry leadership. Attendees will also have the ability to customize their experience through curated learning tracks, enabling them to build skills and knowledge aligned with their professional goals. 

Programming will be led by industry leaders and subject matter experts, including ASID National Board Chair Elizabeth Von Lehe, ASID, NCIDQ; Susan Chung, Ph.D., ASID Allied, WELL AP; Veronica Sanders, ASID, RID, NCIDQ, among others.

The conference’s opening keynote, “Gain Insight on How Stories Can Grow Your Business,” delivered by bestselling author and producer Ron Tite, will explore storytelling as a strategic business tool, demonstrating how design professionals can use narrative to communicate value, support decision-making and complex client and project challenges.

The conference will be held at the Dallas Market Center and will coincide with ArchLIGHT and Dallas Design Week—providing attendees expanded access to complementary programming and opportunities to connect manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals. 

The conference will close out with “ASID’s Awards Reception: Light Up The Night” on Sept. 17, recognizing recipients of ASID’s national honors, including the ASID National Awards and new inductions to ASID’s College of Fellows.
