HIGH POINT, NC — October 2026 — For the first time since its inaugural edition in March 2023, the ticking tent® is going “on tour,” bringing its signature mix of antiques, artisans and design discoveries to High Point Fall Market, October 16–18 with 313 Space.
313 Space is an ideal location partner for the ticking tent’s first “on tour” entry to the High Point market as its very special curation of vendors across the worlds of antiques, art, furniture and home décor is completely simpatico with the seasonal curations that Ben and Christina present for each of their brocante-style markets. Says Alex Bates, Exhibitor Curator & Marketing Director at 313 Space, “the ticking tent is the perfect extension of the offerings we have curated throughout our building. 313 has become a destination for High Point shoppers looking for unique treasures to fill their homes and those of their clients. 313 x the ticking tent are the perfect partners in the thrill of the hunt!”
A signature ticking-striped entry tent will lead visitors into the Moroccan Courtyard behind the 313 building and a large-scale tent filled with one-of-a-kind finds from a curated roster of antiques dealers, independent artisans, boutique home retailers and design-led brands.
Founded by communications and business development expert Christina Juarez and interiors editor and author Benjamin Reynaert, the ticking tent® is the original brocante-style design market, bringing together established dealers beloved by designers and collectors alongside a new generation of makers and tastemakers.
The idea began over lunch at Pastis in New York, with a conversation about something Juarez and Reynaert both loved: the hunt. In an increasingly digital world, they saw an opportunity to bring back the thrill of finding something unexpected—a rare antique, a conversation with a maker or an object with a story that no algorithm could serve up.
“Our shoppers come because they trust our eye,” says Reynaert. “They know they’ll discover something unexpected, a rare textile, hand-painted ceramic, future heirloom or simply the finishing touch for a room. They’re looking for interiors that feel collected rather than consumed.”
That appetite for experiential shopping has translated into nearly $1 million in sales in a single day, with close to 2,000 shoppers traveling from across the U.S. and increasingly from the UK and Europe each market. Designers source for clients, retailers discover new artisans and brands form relationships that extend well beyond the weekend.

Beyond shopping, the ticking tent® has developed its own signature experiences. The High Point edition will include a Friday evening wood-fired pizza, Via Carota Craft Cocktails & Shopping preview, a Saturday Early Bird Breakfast, the Benjamin Moore Espresso Edit coffee cart, Doyle Auction House Candy Bar, and the second edition of the ticking tent times print newspaper and newsstand.
The market’s signature ticking fabric, created exclusively by UK textile brand Colours of Arley, will once again dress vendor tables and the market’s recognizable welcome tent.
“At its heart, the ticking tent reflects a larger shift in how people want to shop,” says Juarez. “After years of endless online choice, luxury is once again about curation, connection and discovery. It’s shopping as it used to be—and perhaps as it should be again.”
