The industry is rearranging the room. Meanwhile, 313Space expands its High Point footprint and the Vacation Rental Design Summit doubles down with two markets for 2027. Here’s who—and what—is moving.
F. Schumacher & Co. (FS&CO) has acquired the majority of the Vanoutryve archive. A 150 year old French and Belgian textile mill, Vanoutryve is also where company founder Frederick Schumacher began working in textiles. Schumacher chief creative officer Dara Caponigro commented, “This important lesson in the decorative arts will provide inspiration and education for our internal teams, students, and interior designers around the world for many generations to come.”
Furniture manufacturer Sarreid announced the creation of its “Curators Circle”, an advisory group of twelve industry and designer voices who will “help the company look more deeply at what it makes, how it develops and presents product and how those decisions can better support” designers and retailers. WithIt, the Women’s Leadership Development Network for professional women in the home and furnishings industry, has announced the appointment of Cheryl Dobbins Hege to the position of director of advancement and marketing. Hege will strengthen industry partnerships and sponsorships, grow membership and engagement, and expand WithIt’s visibility and reach. She comes to WithIt with fifteen years of industry experience across ANDMORE and McNeil Communications where she worked on initiatives for both High Point and Las Vegas markets.
Executive director Amy Van Dorp stated, “Cheryl brings industry knowledge, strong relationships and a breadth of marketing experience that will be valuable as we continue to grow WithIt’s reach and impact.”
313Space in High Point, NC announced the locations Fall Market plans including:
- The unveiling of the space’s expansion into the Kitchens & Bath category in the Atrium
- Hosting the brocante-style design market, the ticking tent®, popping up from October 16th-
18th, bringing its signature mix of antiques, artisans and design discoveries to High Point for the first time. - The launch of a new Schwung lighting collection, showcased in a new gallery in the lobby
- An expanded focus on gardens and luxury outdoor living, with the introduction of Glaz Greenhouses, imported from France, and the return to High Point of Woodard Furniture, celebrating 160 years of crafting outdoor furniture in the U.S.
- New exhibitors, makers and artists, including sustainably made Little Greene Paint Company, Mory Home, Ellis Works, and the New York based plein-air painter, Jesse Alexander

The Vacation Rental Design Summit (VRD Summit) announced an expanded partnership with ANDMORE for 2027 that will see the summit at both January Las Vegas market and a debut in Atlanta for July’s Casual market. Founded by Jane Dagmi of High Point by Design (HPxD), Jessica Duce of JDuce Design and Vacation Rental Designers, and Ericka Saurit of Saurit Creative, the VRD Summits will focus on process, profitability and purpose.
