The 4th annual Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse Dallas

DALLAS – The internationally recognized Kips Bay Decorator Show House, hosted by premier youth organization the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, announced today the location of its fourth annual Decorator Show House in Dallas, Texas. The highly esteemed design event has claimed 9446 Hathaway Street, Dallas, TX, 75220 in Old Preston Hollow’s Sunnybrook Estates neighborhood as its 2023 location. The Show House will be open to the public for two weeks beginning Thursday, November 2, 2023. The Show House doubles as the nation’s leading design event of the year and Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s top fundraiser.


“We’re thrilled to return to the Old Preston Hollow neighborhood for the fourth annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House,” notes James Druckman, President of the Board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “The Show House continues to excite and engage the design community and we couldn’t be more excited to return to Dallas during Dallas Design Week to raise critical funding for the Dallas community and our kids.”

Situated in the heart of Old Preston Hollow, this tasteful and refined classic 5-bedroom house includes 4 living areas on 1.7 acres. The property includes a pool and outdoor living spaces as well as a 3-car garage with built-in storage. This November, the residence will call upon a group of leading interior designers to transform individual rooms before opening to the public for viewing.

“We are so grateful to the Dallas community for their continued support of our organization,” said Dan Quintero, the Executive Director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We’ve been working closely with the City of Dallas to ensure this is as seamless a process as possible for the residents of the Old Preston Hollow neighborhood.”

For nearly half a century, top interior designers have come together to raise more than $29 million for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club of New York, which provides young people with educational and developmental programs in the city. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas co-chairs are Jean Liu and Chad Dorsey; Laura Lee Clark and Trish Sheats serve as vice chairs. Jamie Drake, Jan Showers and Veranda Editor-in-Chief Steele Marcoux are honorary chairs.

The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas will benefit two local charities: Dwell with Dignity, a nonprofit agency dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty, and The Crystal Charity Ball, another Dallas-based organization whose mission is to aid, support and make contributions to children’s charities in Dallas County.

The VIP weekend is the first weekend of the Show House being open which will be November 3rd, 4th and 5th. This event includes a welcome cocktail and a Show House Journal. The four daily sessions for this event are 10 am – 11:30 am, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, and 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

For the final ten days of the Show House being open, they will have General Admission days, which include a Show House Journal. The four daily sessions for this event are 10 am – 11:30 am, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, and 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
