Shure Design Studio opens gallery and retail space in Los Angeles

Equal parts design lab and curated boutique, Shure Design Studio’s new gallery and retail space features everything from bespoke candles and specialty tabletop pieces to striking furniture, notable books and dynamic lighting.

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 2024) – Shure Design Studio is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new gallery and retail space, located in Glassell Park’s artisan hotspot Verdugo Plaza.

Created by Southern California native Candace Shure, Shure Design Studio provides wide-ranging interior design services and is highly adept at mixing both new and vintage pieces to create rooms that are punctuated with character and personality. Los Angeles, with its vibrant art scene, iconic architecture, and cinematic history, consistently inspires the studio’s projects.


As the visionary behind the studio’s new retail and studio space, Shure is excited to introduce an innovative showroom concept that seamlessly blends vintage treasures, locally crafted masterpieces, and contributions from global artists. The dynamic new space, featuring an ever-evolving and curated collection, promises to transcend traditional design boundaries and foster community with pieces by ceramists Amanda Hummes, Kassandra Guzman, and Rory Shamlian, and artists Caroline Pinney, Johanna Christensen, Melina Finkelstein, Fernanda Sibilia, and Charmee Celine. California makers of note include Atelier Saucier (linens), Bohemé and Flamingo Estate (candles) and LuvHaus (tabletop).
