High Point, N.C. October 29, 2024 — Drum roll please! International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) announced the winners of the highly competitive Pinnacle Awards during a gala held at the Centennial Station Arts Center in High Point on Oct. 28th.
A slate of industry notables presented professional and student home furnishings and textile designers with the prestigious 2024 Pinnacle Awards. The Pinnacle Awards are the furniture industry’s highest honor, recognizing brilliant designs created by individuals who envision and craft the pieces that become some of the most sought-after home furnishings around the world.
Their works are produced and marketed by companies large and small, but with a common denominator—to proudly illustrate that artistry, craft, and innovation are important and desirable in the consumer marketplace.
“Each year when I see the exceptionally creative pieces that the professional and student furniture and textile designers enter, I appreciate the daunting task that the judges have in selecting the finalists and ultimately the winners,” stated David Blair, executive director of ISFD.
“Once again, the designers outdid themselves by submitting pieces and collections that continue to raise the bar in this prominent industry competition and make winning a highly valued Pinnacle Award an even greater honor.”
Blair continued, “I want to thank all who entered the Pinnacle Awards and all who worked to make our 28th annual competition an outstanding success. A heartfelt thanks is also extended to our keynote speaker, Bill McLoughlin, for inspiring us with his thoughtful insights. And a special appreciation goes out to the ISFD board whose driving force was instrumental in creating this popular event. Thank you all!”
