SANTA FE SPRINGS, California – Lindsey Whitely of Set the Stage The Woodlands in Spring, Texas, was named the winner of Coaster Fine Furniture’s “Designed With Coaster” inaugural contest at the recent Summer Las Vegas Furniture Market. The runners-up included Tammy Reinke of Naples Home Staging in Naples, Florida, who placed second, and Lolly Mackenzie of reThink Interiors in Scottsdale, Arizona, who came in third. More than 57 designers from around the country participated in the contest.

The contest invited interior designers to submit original design projects featuring Coaster products, highlighting how designers incorporate the brand’s furnishings into residential spaces.

The first-place winner received a $1,000 grand prize, with second place receiving a $500 Coaster credit and third place receiving a $200 Coaster credit. The three designers were recognized for projects that demonstrated creativity, thoughtful product selection and effective use of Coaster furnishings.

“We received really fabulous entries full of creativity, ingenuity and taste. Designers play an important role in bringing a vision to life and showing clients how furniture can transform a space,” said Mindy Leitwein, general manager of national accounts and business development. “The ‘Designed with Coaster’ contest gave us the opportunity to celebrate our customers and the creativity they bring to their projects while showcasing the versatility of our products.”

Whitely’s grand prize-winning entries featured two design projects showcasing Coaster products. Her bedroom design featured the Durango Bedroom Collection, while her living room incorporated Scottland armchairs, Trini occasional tables and Tina barstools at the kitchen island. “I started my staging business in early 2025, and Coaster has become one of my go-to resources because the furniture is stylish, readily available and helps elevate every space,” said Whitely. “The Durango collection makes such a statement, and today more than 80% of my staging inventory is Coaster.”

Reinke’s second-place submission utilized Coaster’s Arini occasional tables, Lawler accent chairs and Chadwick barstools in a living room, along with Brookmead dining furniture and Leandro dining chairs in a separate dining room. “I’ve used Coaster furniture in nearly all of my projects because the collections work so well in luxury homes,” said Reinke. “Winning this award made it even more meaningful as I’m donating the prize to Eden House, an organization that supports women who have survived trafficking and abuse. We recently furnished one of their homes with Coaster beds, so it’s rewarding to continue supporting their mission.”

Mackenzie’s third-place submission featured a living room design using Coaster’s Hobson sectional, Easton coffee table and Florence sideboard. The project created a warm, contemporary space while demonstrating the versatility of Coaster’s furniture collections.

“Connecting with our customers and seeing how they use Coaster products in their own design projects was especially meaningful for us,” said Marlene Vidal-Donlucas, director of marketing. “The contest allowed us to recognize the talent and creativity of the designers who choose Coaster while giving us a closer look at the many ways our collections can be styled and incorporated into different spaces. We were impressed by the quality and thought behind every submission.”

In addition to the “Designed with Coaster” contest, Coaster Fine Furniture sponsored RESACONVEGAS 2026 during Summer Las Vegas Market. The annual national convention for the home staging industry brings together professional home stagers, designers and business owners for education, networking and industry recognition. As part of its involvement in the event, Coaster led three guided showroom tours for more than 100 stagers, allowing attendees to explore the company’s latest collections and offerings.
