Varaluz Unveils “New, Borrowed & Blue” at Lightovation
Nature-Inspired Design, Sustainable Mindset and Bold Blue Hues Define the Brand’s Latest Introductions
SALT LAKE CITY — Lighting brand Varaluz will debut a collection of new lighting designs at the upcoming Lightovation Show under the theme “New, Borrowed & Blue.” The collection celebrates fresh design perspectives, drawing on influences from nature and a bold embrace of blue—one of today’s most compelling color trends in interior design.
The latest introductions showcase the artistic, unexpected style that has become synonymous with Varaluz. Sculptural silhouettes, graceful curves and architectural forms inspired by the natural world create statement-making fixtures that bring movement, texture and personality into the home. Rich sapphire, ocean and jewel-toned blues add a vibrant layer of sophistication, offering designers a fresh alternative to traditional neutrals.

Among the highlights is Coco, a tailored 8-light pendant that pays homage to the first lady of fashion’s effortless sophistication, now updated through blue and French Gold finishes.
Panelist introduces a dramatic linear silhouette featuring hand-set alabaster panels that bring the warmth and organic beauty of natural stone into contemporary interiors.
Geography Lines delivers a bold architectural chandelier with tiered geometric forms and bronzed glass panels that capture and diffuse light with striking depth and character.
The “borrowed” element of the collection reflects more than nature-inspired design—it also underscores Varaluz’s commitment to sustainability. Several of the new introductions feature hand-forged components made from 70% recycled steel and hand-applied low-VOC finishes, blending organic influences, thoughtful craftsmanship and responsible material choices into designs that are as sustainable as they are beautiful.
“Nature has always been one of the greatest sources of inspiration for design,” said Ron Henderson, founder and design lead of Varaluz. “With ‘New, Borrowed & Blue,’ we wanted to explore how organic influences, sustainable thinking and bold color can come together to create lighting that feels both timeless and completely fresh.”
According to Henderson, the collection is designed to help homeowners and designers create spaces that feel curated, expressive and elevated. All new collections can be seen in the Varaluz showroom during Lightovation, showroom DTM 4507.
