Thank God – It’s Award Time Again

The Formland Design Awards are back after a 5 year hiatus. Josefine Bentzen, received the Award at the opening of Formland Autumn 2009 on Friday at MCH Messecenter Herning. The ToddlerCompany production of her unique children’s cutlery design earned the Award.
Back in 2003, Josefine Bentzen created children’s cutlery as a study project at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. The project won the DesignSpot competition for young design students that year at the Formland fair.
Since then, the product has undergone a lot of changes, though the basic idea has remained the same – to help young children learn to use cutlery by being attractive and functional.
Fabrikators, the company behind ToddlerCompany has helped in the final design and will soon being production in Skive. The product will be shipped to both Danish and foreign stores.
